            My primary responsibilities have included:

-         As an instructor I have designed and successfully taught multiple course syllabi incorporating a wide variety of methods and assessments.  I have primarily taught in the areas of Language Arts, Social Studies, and Methods Practica across three programs: Early Childhood Education, Middle Grades Education, and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) at the undergraduate and graduate levels. 

-         As Coordinator of both the ESOL Endorsement Program and the College of Education (COE) Honors Program, I have redesigned and revitalized these programs by: collaborating with faculty and administrators in the department, college, and university; creating and revising course syllabi, instructional materials, and assessments, including multiple National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) Key Assessments; and providing advisement to undergraduate and graduate students in these programs.

-         As Chair of the Goizueta Foundation Scholarship Fund for Latino Educators, Co-Coordinator of the Veracruz Teacher Project, and through multiple other roles and initiatives, I have worked to diversify and internationalize the curricula, students, and faculty of the College of Education.
