responsibilities have included:

As
an instructor I have designed and successfully taught multiple course syllabi incorporating
a wide variety of methods and assessments.
I have primarily taught in the areas of Language Arts, Social Studies,
and Methods Practica across three programs: Early Childhood Education, Middle
Grades Education, and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) at the
undergraduate and graduate levels.

As
Coordinator of both the ESOL Endorsement Program and the College of Education
(COE) Honors Program, I have redesigned and revitalized these programs by:
collaborating with faculty and administrators in the department, college, and
university; creating and revising course syllabi, instructional materials, and assessments,
including multiple National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE)
Key Assessments; and providing advisement to undergraduate and graduate
students in these programs.

As
Chair of the Goizueta Foundation Scholarship Fund for Latino Educators, Co-Coordinator
of the Veracruz Teacher Project, and through multiple other roles and initiatives,
I have worked to diversify and internationalize the curricula, students, and
faculty of the College of Education.
