Trip to Lyons
Southeast Georgia Communities Project -- Education about Migrant farm workers. Trip includes a visit to the non-profit, discussion about illegal immigration, a visit to the onion fields to speak with migrant farm workers and to observe their labor, to visit a packaging warehouse, and a processing plant where many immigrants are employed.  A Mexican lunch will be served in between.
