General information
Jing-yuan Zhang completed his Doctor of Science degree at Graduate School, Chinese Academy of Sciences in the field of Atomic Physics (D. Sc advisor: Dr. K. T. Lu).  He received his postdoctoral training at Universities of California at Berkeley and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory with Professor Y. R. Shen in field nonlinear optics and surface sciences.  Dr. Zhang came to GSU in 1990 as an associate professor.  Currently he is a professor in the Department of Physics, Georgia Southern University.
