Welcome to my Website. Here, you will find syllabi, selected assignments, and supplements for the courses that I teach in the Psychology Department at Southern. I hope that you find these materials helpful.

Let me tell you a little about myself. I am a developmental psychologist and I have taught at Southern for about 20 years. I teach the developmental courses in the Department of Psychology (Child Psychology, Lifespan Developmental Psychology, Psychology of Aging, and Advanced Developmental Psychology), Research Methods, Senior Research in Psychology, and Careers in Psychology.

My research interests center around the social development of children. I am particularly interested in the mother-infant attachment relationship. I am currently working on a study that examines maternal factors that are related to attachment style in infants. I also conduct research on the social competence of children and factors related to attachment relations in adulthood.
