In the Spring of 2008, I took
three students to the Georgia Psychological Society Conference in
Marcia Tolson-Jones conducted a
Directed Research with me, and after much collaboration, her manuscript was
published in the 2007 Undergraduate Journal of Psychology at the

eighteen undergraduate paper presentations, thirty-six poster presentations, three
on-line publications, two publications in an undergraduate journal, and one

1. In the Spring of 2007, I served on a committee to review a charge of academic misconduct at the request of Dr. Linda Bleiken, Provost.
2. In the Fall of 2006, I became the IACUC Chair. This term will last for 3 years.
3. In the Fall of 2007, I presented a workshop in Group Dynamics for the Office of Student Leadership and Civic Engagement.
4. In the Fall of 2006, I presented Are they learning? How do we know? Can technology help? with Laura Regassa, Rosemarie Stallworth-Clark, and Robby Ambler as part of the Georgia Southern University New Faculty Orientation.
5. In the Spring of 2005, I served as a member of a committee to enhance research and grant-writing at GSU (invited by Julie Cole of the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs). In the Fall of 2005, I served on a panel of researchers who have obtained external grant funding to present Not Your Father’s Grant Writing Workshop to a packed conference room.
6. In December of 2003, I was invited to join the Environmental Safety Task Force. We met in the same month to discuss the vast scope of this committee, and we continued to meet throughout 2004.
