Introduction to portfolio:

This portfolio is intended to contain all of my works from the fall 2006 semester of ENGL 1101 at Georgia Southern University. Although it is an asignment, I will try and treat it as an oppotunity to try something new and have a little fun with it. Before you get into the works you see to the left, I would first like to say a few things about myself so that you will understand where I am coming from.

I was born July 26, 1988 in Snelville, Georgia and have lived in the same house for my entire life. My parents split up when I was seven and decided to split my time with my parents, half the year at one house and half at the other, but everything worked out pretty well as my parents are still pretty good friends. After my tenure at Duluth Highschool, I decided to spend the next four years of my life at Georgia Southern University attempting to reach a bachelor of science in Computer Sciences. When I'm not attending classes my hobbies include Video Games, Movies, and just hanging out with friends in the dorm. I have been dabling in computer graphics for a while now and have a real interest in persuing it as a career. The picture you saw on this site was made by me.

To the left you will see four assignments in chronological order. The first two were assigned as argumentative essays to be researched and completed within about two weeks time. The third assignment was assigned as kind of a transition between an essay and a presentation in the form of Microsoft Powerpoint, putting all the qualities of an argumentative essay into a visually pleasing form. The last assignment was to be an argumentative website, complete with graphics, citations, and enough evidence to prove a point. In the end I hope you can see how I have progressed as a writer from the first assignment to the last.
