| Footnote 4 in Oswald Wieners "the bio-adapter" essay from Die Verbesserung von Mitteleuropa. Roman (Reinbek: Rowohlt, 1969) states that "a simply produced d.i.y. arrangement can be found in o. prokop, forensische medizin, berlin 1966". The following is this reference. [O. "An apprentice of electrical engineering, inconspicuous,
intelligent, but a loner, physiologically accelerated, matured
genitalia, lay on his bed, face-down and naked. Surrounded by
electrical wiring. In his anus stuck the shaft of a spoon.
A clip connected it to the electrical circuit. An aluminum band
was wrapped around the penis 2-1/2 times (masochist!). the
member and the mucous membrane of the rectum showed considerable
scabs, the tissue at the perineum looked as if cooked by the
Joule heat. At the mouth wiring, lightly coiled, underneath
which were burns in the shape of stripes. Connected to this was
a glow lamp set in a small holder. One wire led to the member,
another to the electrical outlet at the wall. From here, an
insufficiently insulated wire led to the lamp, another wire from
there to the wall outlet. In the second outlet of the socket
stuck a regular plug from which a wire led directly to the
teaspoon in the anus. The lamp closed the circuit and
functioned--in addition to the body--as second resistor, so that
only extremly low current electricity would flow through it.
With the help of this clever set-up the fellow could
stimulate his member without pain. Apparently, he turned the
lamp in its holder with the help of his lips so as to achieve higher
stimulation by turning the current on and off, increasing or decreasing
its flow. Death was the result of a short-circuit in the
set-up when the defective wire touched the skin around the
mouth and chin, which had become moist from saliva. Ventricular
fibrillation as a result of the full alternating current (220V)
bypassing the lamp."
