Many people would consider life to be categorized by a set of stages.
These stages are often considered to be organized chronologically, each
one preparing or setting an individual up for the next one. In an ideal
world the preparation would be adequate regardless of the input of the
individual. Unfortunately for those of us that take a more passive
stance with things the world does not operate as such.
If any of you are like me then when you reached college you came to the
quick realization that your highschool did little to nothing to prepare
you for what came after. For some it was going directly into the work
force, and for others it involved attending a college or university.
Those that decided to continue their education were then met with a far
greater amount of academic freedom than before and could find it rather
easy to get distracted or lose sight of their initial goals.
The information presented in the following pages is intended to help
those of us that did and to prevent those that may be lead astray. If
you do not properly prepare for graduation you run the risk of spending
quite a few years after your graduation floundering through temporary
positions still dreaming of the job you had hoped to attain upon
graduating.
