You have been assigned the task of developing a plan to implement a specific technology in your setting. Your plans must consist of four sections:

Introduction

In this section you are to describe in detail

In this section, you are to describe in detail your reasoning for this project. That is you need to discuss:

importance of your topic
why you chose the technology you did
the content area you did
the reasoning for your timeline
why you chose the topics you chose for your staff development
why you chose to leave out topics that the technology is capable of doing in this setting
why your assessment plan is effective

To receive an A for this section, you must include references to

Research articles that justify the importance of your topic, technology, and design
Articles that discuss how to implement the technology in a given setting

You are to include as many references as needed. A minimum number is fifteen total. Almost all of your references must be to non-opinion articles or have been published in refereed journals or as an ERIC document or thesis.

Your own personal experiences can be included in the rationale. However, you must note these in the paper. For example,

Technology in algebra I helps students to better understand slope (Chamblee).

I must be able to determine whether or not a statement you make is an opinion, research article, standards document, etc. Unless you clearly state the origins of a statement I will read the sentence as an opinion statement.

Implementation

This section is where you describe a detailed timeline for successfully completing your task. In the timeline you need to discuss dates, topics to be taught, and ‘homework’, if any.
