Keys to Successful Electronic
Proposal Submission

Grants.gov

The U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has directed all 26 Federal granting-making agencies to standardize grant information, application packages, and processes for finding and applying for Federal grants for more than 1000 different grant programs with over $400 billion in annual awards. Grants.gov makes it faster, easier, and more cost efficient for grant applicants to electronically interact with Federal grant-making agencies.

Grants.gov is the portal to millions of dollars in funding opportunities. Applicants can go to a single comprehensive site to discover and apply for grant opportunities at Grants.gov.

Grants.gov is not a proposal or award database. It does not provide pre-award/post-award management. The primary function of Grants.gov is to provide a portal for finding grant opportunities and providing a mechanism for submissions.
